This base is fantastic, it is made up from two separate halves which I have never had the experience of using before and I was a little concerned whether they would move and separate under the mattress, but not to be. The base never moves and best thing is it supports both sides of the mattress independently. We bought an A. H. Beard executive plush medium king mattress which is soft and firm and on top of the A. H. Beard base there is no dipping or sinking when both of us are on the mattress. One can roll over and move around and the other doesn't feel a thing. Pairingthe Beard mattress and base has given us the most comfortable bed experience we have ever had. Thoroughly recommend the base, great value and quality for your money and thoroughly recommend pairing it with a Beard mattress. Absolute luxury at an affordable price.
