Got one at work, decided to get one for the home. It does have an upkeep cost, but it beats constantly filtering water from the tap and putting in the fridge. New model comes with schedule to save power.

A great way to clear my benchtop and stop using my kettle along with having easy access to chilled water. It's compact and convenient, has a timer to go to sleep over night. The service at Winning Appliances was wonderful, Paul was fantastic. We also received a cashback on the tap, I only rated 4 stars because of the price but seems like all the taps are quite pricey.

This is the second zip tap we’ve had and we love them. We think they are essential for us to make instant hot tea and unlimited soda water. The tap itself is great (stylish and works well). The unit itself makes noise but isn’t too loud. The only let down is Zip itself. Their service is terrible, they will do anything to avoid honouring the warranty and don’t care at all about the thousands of dollars customers spend on their products- the last zip tap we had was installed incorrectly by Zip and a subsequent person came to do a service and refused to do it until we removed a shelf near the unit. Then they charged us for work that should be covered under warranty. Do yourself a favour and use a plumber experienced with Zip taps to install rather than going to the company directly.
