Expensive to purchase plus installation if you're unable to DIY and the water filters are ridiculously expensive, even non genuine. We had our first unit repaired a few times and tolerated multiple issues until finally we decided to just replace it. ZIP service is eye wateringly expensive and considerable delays involved. Fortunately we found a good independent specialist but you're still looking at lots of expense. Without doubt the most expensive whole of life appliance we've ever owned if you annualised the cost. A cheap kettle will boil water but the convenience of these almost makes it worth the money and a happy wife equals a happy life.
