    Good Afternoon, Thank you for this product question, if you intend to recirculate your rangehood and not duct this externally then best to select the correct accessory to recirculate, we do have the correct kit attached to this rangehood on our website for you to view: Westinghouse AR610RK Vent Recirculation Kit. If you are able to exhaust your rangehood that would be the best option as all heat, smoke, and extra smells are ducted outside, recirculation carbon filters will be an ongoing cost being replaced every 6 months, they do not filter smoke, heat, and will reduce the smells coming back into the room not totally remove them.
