As others have said, I also experienced the brush coming away from the handle during saucing. The idea is good, but doesn't work during use.

The silicone brush is inserted to the handle and as the brush and handle start to heat up during use (as in brushing hot bbq sauce or butter) an air pocket between the bristles and handle expand thus pushing out the bristles and separating it from the handle. It’s almost impossible to reinsert it and continue to use the brush while warm. The rest of the brush is nice. Good handle length and nice size bristles for larger bbq or basting sessions. Unfortunately the bristles separating from the handle make the usage limited.

We have had this brush a little over 2 months..it falls apart while trying to baste the foods . Not happy at all with this product.
