Drill some holes on the lower edge of the sides then thread wires through the holes to enable the smoker box to straddle the burners. You now gave a smoker box that fit the baby Q. It works a treat. See pics for more details.

These are great, work brilliantly in combo with the convection tray and trivet and add a whole new dimension to cooking. Well made and simple to use following the included instructions, my first use combining hickory and apple wood chips to smoke chicken wings was a hit with the family. I can't wait to try different meats and different wood combinations. Thanks Weber another accessory that makes the Weber Q the most versatile bbq ever and such great value for money.

Recently bought a Weber Q2200 to add to my Weber collection. Decided to try the smoke boxes to see if I could rationalise my BBQ collection as it is growing, will the result be as good as my SMC? Well, to my surprise I smoke cooked 2 baby pork ribs on Low & Slow for 3 hours with mesquite smoke chips. I can't say enough other than they are as good as it gets and the conversation at the table of four people was silent! all too busy eating! I wish I had taken a photo, but the Smoker Box works wonders!
