My center grate is wearing out too fast like other people have noticed probably because it gets the most use. Can I buy just a center grate and not the whole thing? Is there a stainless steel version instead of plated steel? That might be mode durable and even some of the comments on the Weber site say stainless is better. I'd prefer not to have to go to a third party solution to get stainless. The gas igniter on the grill is great for lighting charcoal though.

Terrible. Outside ring can't support the center piece after time.

Very thick material that should last a very long time. Assembled and finished very well.
