I bought the wall mount a week ago and installed it yesterday and was so impressed with the quality of this unit I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. The mount is so maneuverable it surpasses all my expectations and will look out for this brand if I ever need another one. At this stage, I have 4 other mounts which were top of the range in their movements but this new Vogels product is unbeatable. Even the packaging and instructions were first rate. Congratulations on the team that developed this product.

I appreciate good quality in any product and am usually willing to pay a bit more for it. I'm handy and enjoy assembling many of the items I purchase. I am pleased with the quality of the wall mount, but there were a number of glitches in the assembly process. I downloaded the app on my Samsung phone, but found navigating it difficult. It froze often when moving from step to step and it couldn't find my exact TV in the drop-down menu (a request I found unnecessary to mount the wall mount anyway. Making this a requirement to move forward unnecessarily complicated the process.). About 15 minutes was wasted fumbling with the app which, in the end, I ignored. It took some time to afix the backing to my TV and center it properly. This proved to be time well spent later as I was able to better determine exactly where the base needed to be placed on the wall as the app was useless. The glossy plastic covers for the base that attaches to the wall were very difficult to remove. This took almost 20 minutes (I know, right?). I didn't want to break the plastic, so I was tentative about forcing it but, wow, this was frustrating.The rest of the process went smoothly. It took me two hours to complete the process, which I think should have taken about an hour. The little commercial video at the beginning of the app suggesting that the woman can install the mount in the time it takes the man to make a coffee is a little misleading unless they own the world's slowest coffee machine. This, juxtaposed with the first sentence in the instructions saying your purchase should be installed by a qualified professional is not only contradictory, but just plain false advertising. It did, however, provide some satisfying moments sharing it with my friends and family. They found it farcical and laughable. So, if you couldn't be responsible with your advertising, you at least provided some entertainment. Thanks
