Well engineered, lacks flexibility
The Thin 505 comes with a bunch of bolts to support a variety of installations and TV types. It's a solid piece of hardware that makes you feel confident about mounting an expensive TV. It worked well for my needs, but I had to diverge from the instructions in order to accommodate my stud locations (drywall installation). It would be nice if Vogel provided more factory-drilled holes for more flexible installation options. Also, the screws that were included for the installation of the mounting bar to the wall were easily stripped, so I used my own screws to attach the mounting bar to the studs. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product.
