I already had an old Vitamix. Also great, but it took up too much counter space. I had one of the ‘bullets’ to save space. Waste of space and money! Love this one. Very satisfied. Sits out all the time and used almost every day. Don’t waste money on a cheaper deal. This works!

Friends told me the Vitamix was worth the price. I am now a believer.

My boyfriend and I are both vegan and have careers in the fitness industry - we could not have been more excited about getting a vitamix. One of the main reasons we purchased it was because we thought it made soup hot and ice cream cold as "soup and ice cream" were both featured on the side of the box. We were disappointed to find out that this was not the case with the smaller model we purchased and felt that it was a bit of false advertising. Secondly, we find that we are constantly having to add more liquid and it does not mix soaked nuts or dates as powerfully as we thought it would and we end up sacrificing the recipe with too much liquid just to get a smooth consistency. For a price so high we were just expecting more.
