    Overview

With the Ascent series of blenders, Vitamix is the first brand to offer blending containers that interact with the ingredients inside them. This SELF-DETECT technology is made possible with wireless connectivity. The blender detects the container you’re using and adjusts its power accordingly, so you’re only using the power required for the recipe.

With 10 variable speeds, a pulse function, and a digital timer, you can ensure precise results, no matter what you’re blending. With three specialised programs - Smoothies, Hot Soups, and Frozen Desserts - you can take the guesswork out of your favourite drinks, meals, and treats. The blender even switches off automatically once the program has run its course.
    SELF-DETECT technology

With multiple sizes of Vitamix containers available, it can be tough to decide which one is best suited to the task at hand. Using Bluetooth wireless connectivity, the Ascent blender calibrates blending time and performance based on the container you are using. Additionally, interlock technology means the blender won’t start if the lid or container is not fastened correctly.

    Specialised programs

High-performance blenders go beyond quick prep tasks to serve as accomplished recipe stations. With modes for smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts, the Ascent blender draws a clear distinction between mixing and creating.

    Variable speed control

Whether you’re going for full obliteration or gradual waves of power, this blender gives you a world of autonomy. Choose from 10 speeds using the simple dial control, or choose Pulse for those recipes that need one last bit of refinement.

    Digital timer

When you’re following a recipe, time is of the essence. Thanks to this blender’s digital timer, you can stay on track with your method to ensure your final texture is not too dense or too watery.

Only good for large volume blending
I am very disappointed with the ability for this Vitamix to make small batches. It is useless in making single serving meals, like smoothies. The blender probably works great but I wish Vitamix was more up front about not being able to use this model without the canister being significantly filled. I used to use a Vitamix with the tall canister of the same size no problem in making single serving smoothies. I understand a smaller canister can be purchased and may work for my needs but at such a high price point for the blender I expected it to fit my needs of small batches.

    Amazing purchase and customer service!
Just LOVE this vitamix. I used the soup recipes from Tommy Raw Blends and can't believe I just put all the raw vegetables in and bingo ...piping hot creamy soup in 5 minutes. Yes a little noisy when starts but heh when you can drop whole carrots in the jug etc what would you expect and it is truly magical it spins so fast and is so powerful that it blends all the ingredients within a minute of two and the friction from the ridiculously fast moving blades actually heat and cook the ingredients ...all within 5 mins.....UNBELIEVABLE! I am about to do custard in it next ...worth every cent!!!+ Thanks appliances online for outstanding next day delivery from Sydney to South coast. Very happy customer.

Powerful, Reliable, and Perfect for Smoothies
I absolutely love my Vitamix blender! It’s incredibly powerful, effortlessly blending even the toughest ingredients. My favorite function is the smoothie setting, which I use daily for perfectly creamy results. The build quality is excellent, robust and durable, and it’s surprisingly easy to clean. The only downside is that it gets quite loud at the highest speed, but given its performance, it’s a small trade-off. Highly recommend for anyone serious about blending!

    Questions & answers

I’m trying to find one appliance that will do the following- individual smoothies, heavy mixtures like energy balls, nut butters and dry spice grinding and almond flour milling Trish · 2019-04-02
Hi Trish, Thank you for your enquiry. What's so great about the Vitamix Ascent Series 2500i is that it can double as a food processor and a blender, so you shouldn't have any issues creating smoothies, nut butters or spice grinding. If you're grinding smaller items like spices I would recommend purchasing the smaller 225 ml Blending Bowls. I hope this information has assisted you during your shopping experience on Appliances Online. Cassie, Appliances Online
