Here is my take on how it actually fits into a wine lover’s lifestyle. I love that this is a single-zone cabinet. While some people obsess over dual-zones, I found that keeping the whole unit at 12°C is the "Goldilocks" temperature for my collection. It’s perfect for long-term cellaring, but if I decide to crack open a bottle of red on a Friday night, it’s already at a professional serving temperature without me having to think about it. Living in a space where every square centimetre counts, the 493mm width is a lifesaver. It’s narrow enough to tuck into a corner of my dining room, yet it somehow swallows 35 of my Bordeaux-style bottles. It’s essentially a high-end cellar that takes up less floor space than my armchair. One of my biggest fears with a wine fridge was a constant, annoying hum or vibration that would rattle the corks (and my nerves). This thing is impressively still. You can feel the build quality; there’s no cheap rattling, which gives me peace of mind that my older vintages aren't being "shaken" awake. My dining area gets a lot of afternoon sun, which is usually a wine’s worst enemy. The triple-glazed, UV-treated glass is a tank. I can see my collection through the borderless black glass—which looks incredibly sleek—without worrying that the UV rays are skunking my expensive labels.
