I bought this when I got a puppy not long after I had new carpet installed! Initially I just intended to use for spot-cleaning the wee patches, but now I do the whole house with it. The tank is on the smaller side as others have mentioned - however I believe the fill line is set half way only because of the capacity of the waste water tank! So - I fill it up all the way - and then empty the waste tank halfway through. I find that that 2 tanks (full) is enough for my whole living area and hallway. In hindsight, if I realised I'd be using it for my whole house (not just spot cleaning) I probably would have spent more and got a better machine. But it does a great job of freshening up my carpet every few months.

I have used it about 5 times,it makes a ringing noise when use it .i haven't be able to use it for over 2 weeks

Bought this to clean carpets in my rented home before house inspection. Used once and it has made the carpet stained and ruined. Used to much water and drenched the carpet and now it looks terrible. Followed instructions to a tee and used without water to vacuum up dampness from carpet but still ruined the carpet
