I bought this Vax Pet vacuum cleaner from the Goodguys store last month. In my first use, I have noticed continuous very loud noises. It was impossible for me to continue. I have used Electrolux, Phillips, Samsung, Dyson in past. Never experienced this noise. Also, the quality of the cleaning was not good. In this week, I went back to Goodguys to return this item. They told me there is no issue because Vax items are noisy! WOW! They said they sell bad products! So no refund until getting a return reference code from the Vax. Then I contacted Vax. Vax was not helpful. They didn't accept my problem. Bad luck. Wasted money. A piece of rubbish. Don't buy a Vax!!!

I’ve had this vacuum for approx. 18months. After about a year the bottom part broke so had to leave it into a repair centre to get fixed. I could deal with the outrageous noise levels but as of a few weeks ago it has just started cutting out and not turning back on. I will be returning for a refund and won’t be purchasing Vax products again.
