I am glad I bought this, and would buy again. I spent a few weeks reading about steam cleaners, and didn't want to break the bank, and we are in an apartmemt so I didn't want a huge contraption. Tank is easy to fill, heats up very fast, no down-time between refills. Stores neatly, not too bulky. Handheld unit very handy. Cord is very long, so can stretch far. This can mean you are dragging a long cord around sometimes, but that's ok. I have used for floor tile grouting (loosened up dirt nicely- i just used a damp cloth to wipe it away), oven door (blasted grease), and carpets (freshened overall). Carpet stains (cream carpet): had moderate effect on old wax (which really pleased me), minimal effect on old tomato pesto sauce stain. The small brush head attachment (oddly) melted slightly but have been in touch with the company who will hopefully be able to resolve this issue. The bigger brush head is fine! You do need to keep the button pushed to keep the steam going. Doesn't bother me, but I note some reviewers have mentioned difficulty if hand arthritis, and guess yes, this could be an issue.

Excellent versatile steam floor cleaner, not only does it clean a variety of floor surfaces. It has numerous attachments that can be used to clean fabric sofas and couches but also glass, oven,and anything else that you think of, and a variety of surfaces with many applications and easy to use.Great steam pressure available allows with the various attachments to apply steam to thoroughly clean those hard to get to areas and reduces time and scrubbing by hand, also the detergent function allows you apply cleaning agent to hard to clean stains and grime. Overall an excellent product that has many uses in and around the home, office and business.

Handle snapped off mid use, returned it to where i bought it and qas told vax wouldn't cover it as it would be classed as accidental damage. More like unfit for use given it can't stand up to normal use
