If you lift it up to carry it again it loses connection and power, the black rubber around the black mesh suck in, such a pain in the butt. I have only used it 3 times. The new model of this machine is REALLY BADLY DESIGNED. Whoever decided to not enable the user to get into the red inner area of the barrel to remove long hairs etc. that were twisted around the "cone" has hopefully been sacked! It is FAR TOO DIFFICULT to clean out when it gets clogged up - which happens pretty well every time I use, which of course has a detrimental effect on the suction. Disappointing.Legendary service
