    Rice comes out perfect every time and I have made a couple of stews on slow cook mode and they have come out perfect as well. Really happy with this multi use product!

    Awful product. It had one job!!!
    Extremely disappointing experience with this rice cooker. I carefully followed the internal measurement lines and instructions, yet the cooker repeatedly produced rice that was stuck together in a large clump while still remaining undercooked and crunchy inside. The most frustrating part is that the cooker appeared to complete the cycle normally despite the rice clearly not being fully cooked. This occurred across three separate attempts, even while adjusting measurements and methods. For an appliance designed specifically to simplify rice cooking, I expected far more consistency, reliability and cooking accuracy than this.

    TERRIBLE RICE COOKER
    So my rice cooker of 7 years finally died and decided to splurge and buy this WHAT A TERRIBLE PRODUCT!!! I used this for about a month and it almost caused me to have a breakdown. I thought I didn’t know how to cook rice anymore(I’m asian so this is blasphemy). The rice was constantly coming out undercooked. The last straw was when I tried to make coconut rice last week and the inside was still raw and the outside was going mushy from overcooking(??!!) So I broke down and brought the breville rice cooker. Same rice, same water measurement and the rice came out perfect like how I use to make it! So it wasn’t me but this stupid cooker!!! Also this cooker is terribly designed. It does not beep or make any noise when it’s finished so you have to constantly check on it, the cook time also never accounted for a fluff phase??? The lid is also not detachable(not from what I tried to find through the manual) which is disgusting because there’s a rubber seal that’s quite annoying to clean. It also takes a ridiculous amount of time to cook 2 cups of undercooked rice. I wish I could return this. I will probably have a burning ceremony when it’s less windy. I recommend the breville rice cooker instead, initially I was tossing up between this one or the breville one, I got this one because the breville one was not in stock. That one has a fluff timer and it beeps when it’s time to fluff and the lid can be popped out for easy cleaning! Its like this rice cooker was designed by a white person who doesn’t know what good rice is.
