    Fantastic portable aircon. Perfect for bedroom, as many other portable aircons, it's a little noisy. With the heatwave we experienced recently, this unit, was a lifesaver.

    Emptying water every hour
    For the first 2 weeks the unit ran 5-6 hours a day perfectly before getting it's first full tank error. Emptied the tank and turned it back on and within an hour it was full again. I can only use it in continuous drain mode with a hose into a bucket, or stopping it and emptying it manually every hour. Asked support about it and was told it's normal function. (despite it not doing this for the first 2 weeks) wouldn't be a horrible issue if it came with a drain kit, but it doesnt. (as its advertised as rarely needing draining because of self evaporation)

    Hello Thank you for this product question. Sorry, no, the kits have been designed for sliding windows only, not doors. To fit a doorway, I have had customers say that they went and had this piece custom made, some have mentioned that they went and bought thick styrene and cut the shape of the hose and use that this way, just a thought for you with options.     Can this be run in dehumidifier mode without the exhaust vent? Josh · 2024-10-29
    Hello Josh, Thank you for your question about the product. Since the motor is located internally and the exhaust is at the rear, it will release the motor's heat back into the room. The only function that doesn't require the hose to be connected is when the unit is set to fan mode.
