    Would have been perfect but 1 major flaw
    I have the same opinion as the review, the siren on the gate sensor unit is ridiculous and it can't be turned off. This should have been printed on the packaging so I didn't just waste $50. Also the gate sensor doesnt look like it would be very resistant to weather. No information on it anywhere.

    Gate alert
    My original kit which failed was replaced with a movement/heat sensor alert instead of the two part sensor. This is very sensitive and means I will have to arrange a screening to narrow its field of operation and stop it sensing my neighbours approach to my gates. I hope that will be effective....

    Good product, so close to perfect but...
    Just purchased the Swann Gate Alert. Really well packed and presented unit. Unlike a lot of electronic gadgets it looks and feels well made.
