    For over 100 years, Sunbeam has been finding ways to simplify the lives of everyday Australians. Their range of FoodSaver vacuum sealers is testament to an ongoing preoccupation with how people consume food.

    The GameSaver has been specifically engineered for use outside the home. Take it with you on your camping trips to preserve freshly-caught fish, using the 12-volt DC adapter cord to power the unit from your car, boat, or RV. A standard power cord is also included for when you’re using the vacuum sealer at home. The GameSaver will preserve your meat, fish, or poultry for up to five times longer than standard storage methods. Its heavy-duty design means it can continually seal up to 50 bags. The removable drip tray will make cleaning a breeze, while the carry handle allows for effortless transportation from trailer to tent.

    Expensive and consistently faulty.
    Seems to be some kind of serious design fault with this vacuum sealer. My first one was replaced under the extended warranty I paid for when I purchased it. The tube that sucks the air out developed a hole from rubbing against the plastic it was fitted into. I have just thrown my second one in the bin for the exact same reason. This model is quite expensive and I it is reasonable to expect much better quality for that price. I will never buy this brand again.

    Very Happy Recommend it 100%.
    I'm very happy; I've been using it for several months, and I use it constantly every day. I used to use the bags, but now I prefer the containers (FoodSaver), and the food lasts much longer. It has quite strong suction power, and I recommend it 100%.

    Too big
    I have been using food savers for over 15 years now. I have purchased the larger one before, then the last 3 have been the smaller model. They last approx 3 to 4 years, they live on my bench as I use them daily. They do add a lot of life to your food items. However, this one that I purchased last is just too big and takes up too much room. The buttons feel cheap, like they will break easily. It is clunky. It does store a plug for using in your car (strange, how many people want this option) plus stores your roll of bags. This is all not necessary, causing it to big very unnecessary large. I have had to remove other items from my bench in order for it to fit. Get the smaller version.

    Good Morning, Thank you for this question the plastic bags that are designed for this machine to be able to draw the air from the bag and then seal a normal plastic bad is not designed for this type of purpose.
