I had the same experience as the previous review I was blending soup and it started to have a toxic smell and then smoke heavily on the grey rubber are at the top of the handle. I thought it was going to catch on fire !!! I unplugged it quickly and threw it outside, dangerous appliance in my opinion so binned it.

Not Happy. Used for light work blending soup, and it started smoking. Only used a few times and it's out of warranty and in the bin.

I have never been more disappointed in a purchase. I do not believe that it is faulty. The design is at fault. As I use it, it sucks the hot content up & it burned my hand. Very difficult to clean. Even after 3 attempts to get everything clean I can not get to the place where it is not sealing correctly. Therefore it smells. I have never left a negative review on any product before. After 2 uses I am throwing this Stickmaster in the bin.
