I bought this blanket and have been very happy with its performance, but after 18mths it has developed a horrible musty, sheepy smell! I hand washed it with woolwash as per directions, and dried it outside, and the smell seems to be worse! It is in perfect condition otherwise....any suggestions about what to do would be welcomed

I bought this a month or so ago. It is soft and warms quite fast. Sadly two options for time (1 hour and 9 hours). Generally, I only set it at 1 but if it is extremely cold, then I set it at 9. There are 6 levels of heating. On the other hand, the level 6 is quite warm for my taste and so I set it at level 5. If you set it at level 1 and you cannot even feel it (well at least for me). So I find only level 4 up to level 6 useful. I like the feel of wool and I find the item useful without plugging it in. All in all, it would be great if they have scheduler, retained heat level 3 up to 6 and increased the timer option from 1 hour all the way to 6 hours.

I purchased this electric blanket and could not be happier. My old tie-down electric blanket was worn out after many, many years of use. The Sunbeam Wool Fleece Electric Blanket covers the whole mattress, so no cold spots. Would recommend this blanket to anyone who wants a warm bed.
