Not so good
I bought the kettle just over a year ago. It was supposed to be really quiet, but it's not. It's now become unusable because the plastic hinge of the lid has warped and the "open" button doesn't open the lid so it can only be filled via the pouring spout.

Quiet is not how I would describe this kettle. Other than that it is professionally made and so far reliable. It boils water. :)

Not quiet and glass in lid cracked
I have had this kettle less than 2 years. It has never been quiet when boiling- have to turn up the TV in the adjacent room The glass lid is cracked Would not recommend

Reinforced my confidence in shopping online
I have shopped online for many years and when I received an itme ordered through Appliances Online and the product was faulty, not Appliance Online's problem, but they were immediately apologetic and organised a replacement as soon as they could possibly deliver it,and this was done without any difficulties whatsoever.It was almost like old fashioned service of the "customer is always right".I have previously bought a washing machine through Appliances Online, and again their service was exceptional.I had often wondered what would happen if there was an issue such as this, and it has reinforced my confidence in shopping online particularly with large items.I hope that all businesses have this sort of customer service, the world would be a better place.
