This is the 2nd unit I have had, of this model, it is with doubt a work horse. Made a loaf of bread every day for 3 years. Also made pizza and the odd cake when needed. The first was retired after I dropped it into a full sink. This second one is going strong, and I would buy another because it's the only hand mixer with dough hooks that actually work. Unlike the junk supplied with other units, sunbeam or opposition's brands.

Only used twice to whip cream. Now has burning smell and a glow inside the body of mixer. Dangerous
