Not that long after using it a few times the handle and locking mechanism broke and had to be glued back together as store i purchased it from refused to replace or refund me

Up till now the Big Fill Toastie maker was an excellent product especially with extra filling I can put into the machine and less mess, but unfortunately it doesn’t last the distance! I made a jaffle for dinner one evening then I heard a crack and felt it give way a little as I was pressing down onto my bread and for whatever reason the plastic cracked on both sides of the handle ☹. I had the toastie maker for little over 12 months and maybe used only 20 or so times within that period (Still looks new). Not sure if it is a design flaw or faulty material?

I am an avid Sunbeam purchaser and this 2 slice toasty maker did not disappoint. Great compact size and heated up my toastie very quickly!
