I accidentally left the skillet on last night with a little olive oil barely coating the bottom. It was less than medium on the setting so low temp. The fumes woke me thank heavens. I checked the health issues for burning oil then looked at the specifications of the pan to make sure that is ok and all it says is non stick. Could it harm any of my family I don’t know. Should I continue to use it? I don’t know. Perhaps a cut off switch that was timed like my iron would have been good. otherwise I love it.

I bought this about a month ago to replace the one I had which had seen better days. The depth is perfect and the improved temperature control is great. The non stick surface is excellent and makes it so easy to wipe clean with paper kitchen towels.

I recently purchased a Sunbeam skillet frypan and am very happy with it. This is the third one I have bought over the past fifteen years and I have had great service with them all. Easy to clean, cooks quickly and is very compact. As usual great service from APPLIANCES ON LINE who are always quick and efficient.!!
