Got this as a present. First time had to fiddle around for a good half an hour thinking it was already broken. Followed all instructions and eventually i got the machine to work. However that was only once, upon second use two days following will not show any sign of it being on or that it can vac or seal.

I got this as a present from a friend living in Sydney after she offered to purchase an Anova sous vide machine for me. At first I thought it didn't work, but then, after reading some of the reviews, I realized I was not pressing hard enough. No problem with me since I don't have arthritis (yet).

Just bought but got home and plugged in and does not work - will be taking back tomorrow and won't be getting another one - very disappointing Sunbeam - and I see others have had the same issue so you should remove the product before your reputation really sinks
