I don't normally write reviews but after owning the Sunbeam Torino coffee machine and grinder for 5 years, I thought that it deserved one! I used to own a Cafe and I was missing my coffees once I sold it! So I started looking for a coffee machine that could deliver a great coffee but not take up too much room. I am so happy that I chose this machine, it has been reliable, consistent, easy to maintain and operate.. its solid!! Not flimsy like the cheap coffee machines, even the group handle feels like a industrial one! I like to use the manual handle instead of the programmed buttons so I have control over the shot poured each time. The only things I have replaced in 5 years is 2 group head seals and the water calc cartridge! And I use this machine a few times a day, every single day! The grinder is a little messy but it's true to its grinding specs and easy to adjust. Worth every cent, it's like my best friend! Lol) Just keep on top of the cleaning and it'll last a long time!

I received a Sunbeam coffee machine about 10 years ago as gift. I must say one of the most used and best gifts ever. My Covid-19 self isolation had me wanting to do something different. I have several Sunbeam products that I am very happy with so I am brand loyal. I searched the Sunbeam range and came up with the top of the line Torino and grinder. I got a really good on line deal and within days it was in my kitchen on a rural property in the bush. I am really happy with all the controls that I have to get a perfect coffee. It took me two weeks of trials and errors. That was fun. I am really happy about my new purchase that ended up a silver lining on the cloud of isolation in a lockdown. The machine looks very smart in my kitchen. The coffee tastes great and the only issue is to stick to my limit of two coffees a day.

I purchased my Torino at Nunawading outlet on 25 February 2019. Its first use was on 1 March. After much experimenting with the coffee grind and level of tamping, I finally achieved an extraction in the green zone. Then the steamer did not work! The next day, after many tries, the steamer decided to work BUT now the tank was leaking on to the bench below. The tank was NOT overfilled. Also, when the machine is heating up for the first time in the morning, a rush of steam come out from somewhere - not from the steam wand - and when in use water seems to be constantly dribbliing into the drip tray. I have made sure the tank is firmly inserted but to no avail. I am not happy. I had a Sunbeam Nespresso E Series machine for 10 years with no real problems. Can someone tell me where the Serial Number is hiding?
