I commenced using the mixmaster at 6pm tonight. Soft butter & castor sugar mixing. It is now 9pm and still not creamy. I have scaped down six times and tried on slow, medium and fast settings. Why would anyone buy this machine. You would be better off with a hand beater. I have an old hand beater not electrical and will now try that. It certainly couldn't be any worse.

Sunbeam is a brand our school loves and trusts. We have used this for simple cake mixing, whipping cream, making dough etc in Home Ec and Hospitality with our small country school. We love this mixer and we love Sunbeams kind and generous donations to our school.

We bought this mixer 2 years ago. In that time we have loved it. The lcd screen goes through periods where it doesn't work, but besides this it hasnt missed a beat. This particular model is a little bouncy as with most mixers, so I recommend not using it near the edge of a bench.
