I like everything about this fan and would have given five stars except for the fact that even on the lowest setting the fan is quite fast. I would have appreciated a lower bottom setting so I could just circulate air without blowing things all over the place.

We went to a large box retailer to check out their fans, turned them all on and off to hear how loud they were and just get a feel for them. The cheap ones were loud and weak, the pricier ones were so much better but differed with the noise the blades made on different settings, and with the features offered. This one was the immediate standout, the quietest of every single one, powerful and not overburdened with extra features. Of course it was the only one sold out with the demo model the only one left! We came online to find it here at an excellent price.

I bought a poor quality hardware store fan before this one. It fell apart. This fan is awesome. Its sturdy, easy to clean, has a nice base and has lots of features. The only annoying thing is that the remote didn't come with a battery.
