The soft polyester pad will take a speedy 10 minutes to heat up, and you can keep it in place with the attached sleeve for optimum targeting. For peace of mind, Sunbeam has included nine levels of safety protection, including a 3-hour automatic switch-off.

    Am on my 3rd sunbeam heating pad, maybe even 4th? My physio told me this is better than a wheat sack as the heat is concentrated better and deeper. Have now bought one for my mother-in-law and her sister.
