This is a mixed review. I love the results for hard boiling and poaching but this is the second one I have owned and they have both literally fallen apart. The frame has cracked in two places, the plastic insert for hard boiling eggs has perished and is barely able to use and I have to have a tray underneath the unit as it leaks everywhere. I was hoping that the design would have improved when I bought the second one but sadly this has not been the case. I don’t know whether I would waste my money a third time

I have just purchased and see a need for an improvement. The poach egg trays need a little handle on them to make easy to remove the finshed poached egg from the cooker.

Oh for the old egg cooker - this one is just awful. Cheap plastic and I do not expect it to last long. No automatic turn off and an alarm that is frightening. But it does cook eggs well.
