I have made 20+ white loaves using bread mix. The dough rises perfectly prior to baking but collapses on baking. I have tried less water and putting the water in last. Maybe the baking thermostat/timer is faulty. I have been home baking bread for 10+ years and this breadmaker is frustrating. Should I try the turbo mode to get a different baking program?

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have made a loaf every day, I have followed the recipes in the book and they turn out too dense, I also made the spiced fruit loaf and that was terrible, I also really hate how the kneading blade is stuck in the loaf and when you remove it you end up with a hole in the bottom. I had a panasonic years ago and it was brilliant the bread was perfect every time and the blade didn't get stuck in the loaf, I'm very sorry I sold it to upgrade. Would not recommend this product waste of money. I have several sunbeam products that I love but not this one.

Love the compact design, perfect for our compact kitchen with minimal bench space. Love the simple operation, just 3 buttons to push! Awesome turbo loaf option when short of time, but as this produces a denser loaf we prefer waiting for the three hour loaf. We do not find the machine too noisy, it mixes away unnoticed. Having previously owned a more expensive machine with functions that were probably underutilised, I would not hesitate to recommend this unit. Cooks perfectly and tastes delicious everytime. Also can't go past the smell of freshly baked bread!
