It’s great at first but seems these machines only have about a two year life span. After my first machine stopped frothing and all troubleshooting failed, I replaced it with a new one. Only to end up with the exact same issues two years later. The frother stops working properly. No amount of cleaning or descaling improves this. You’re left with a 1/4 cup of watery coffee with no foam. From other reviews this seems to be a common issue with this model.

We have two of this model bought a year apart. Why did we buy it again? It was a broken machine out of warranty. Well, the second one now has the same problems as the first one. After about 12 months, the flow of the hot milk becomes totally unpredictable. One coffee this morning took 9 shots with the 'froth' option just to fill the cup. And yes, we have meticulously followed the troubleshooting guide, and we are getting sick & tired of 'priming' and ultra cleaning it, just in case. We have had more than a dozen different brand machines over a couple of decades, but never anything like this model and its unpredictable operation.

My partner purchased this for me as a gift last year and not even 7 months later I have had NOTHING but problems. No consistency with the milk or the temperature. Half the time no milk comes out
