I call Appliances Online Australia, from where I bought the ill-fated Myrtle (name for Microwave). It't not their problem, but they see the chance to convert a customer into a fan. Or maybe they're skilled enough to recognize the signs of impending caffeine-delay hysteria. Either way, they're wise enough to tell me they'll find a solution. Robert calls back promptly to say it's not their policy, but they'll replace Myrtle tomorrow. I nearly ask him to run away with me. This is customer service about the relationship rather than the policy. It's the attitude I have in my own business and I'm surprised companies can survive today without it. The cost of sending me a replacement will be tiny compared to the value of my future purchases and the marketing value of my telling friends on Facebook. Michelle, NSW, Australia
Cheaper than any others I looked at
I bought a fridge from you and had it delivered last week. Loved the fact it was cheaper than any others I looked at and I could buy it without having to travel all over Brisbane to get the best price. I ordered it, specified the day I could be home for delivery and the delivery guys rang me at 8.30 to advise the time it would be delivered. this meant I could plan my day around it rather than sitting at home all day waiting (and when you only get one day off a month this is important.) Delivery was free, they took away my old fridge and I paid COD. I have recommended you to heaps of my friends and I am now looking at buying a dishwasher and yes I will be buying through you. I can't recommend Appliances Online enough! I ordered and paid for my purchase in less than five minutes, could choose a day for (free!) delivery and got a highly competitive price for my new washing machine. The company texted the night before to confirm the scheduled delivery and called by 08:30 to confirm the two-hour window within which they'd deliver..how nice not to have to stay in all morning! The delivery guys were super professional and courteous, took away the old machine and packaging for the new one (again at with charge), moved the new machine into place and connected it for me. I don't think I've ever received service like this.and if I have, then not for many years. A 2014 purchase with the latest technology but with good old-fashioned reliable service with a smile.
