did the right job however speaker went silent only after a year, not sure where to repair

Really easy to use for an old bloke. Great features but wish to be able to turn the screen read out down for night use

I purchased this for my new phone and also another for my daughter, being Sony I didn't think to question its ability to do the simple things, however I wish I had paid more attention. The docking and use of the radio is exceptional and the sound is amazing, so if you are wanting an amazing dock - definitely the way to go... as an Alarm Clock - look elsewhere, obviously the person who designed it never had to wake up to an alarm clock before or sleeps extremely lightly. The alarm clock noise is very soft and unalterable in volume and would be surprised if it woke a light sleeper. It also has a sleep function that if your half asleep (and set 2 alarms as I do to wake up# that you can accidently extend the snooze function from the normal 10minutes out to where ever you might land it too half asleep... The over all functionality I think is a lil undesirable and should you loose the remote #that has NO WHERE) to sit within the unit, that you will need to be upright in bed to use any of its features.. There also seems to be a vibration that can be felt when unit isn't in use when touching the top area on the surrounds, which im unsure why is occurring..There is also no way of turning of the back lighting of the display and only have the numbers/writing in view. The only good thing I find is the sound quality, being sony you would expect.
