The Sony Shake 77 is arguably the most powerful audio system in its price point. Whilst there are other similar systems which advertise themselves as DJ systems with a main amplifier and two speakers, with 3600watts RMS you will be surprised with its big sound and usability. A number of other systems have some gimmicky DJ functions, however they are quite limited in functionality and both novice and experienced DJs will probably find that the Shake is a no nonsense system that can run their sound to virtually any sized crowd. You will be hard pressed trying to find something with the Shake's sound quality and absolutely massive sound output level for similar money. It has great speaker boxes with metal grills protecting the 4-way speakers- some other brands leave their speakers exposed to party goers and the like. If you are after quality sound and one of the loudest systems on the planet (with the exception of the Shake 99) then you simply can't go past the Shake 77.
