Brought the player mainly for the bluetooth connectivity while travelling. The player is a great size & the controls are nicley placed. Blurtooth is quick to connect to the things it wants to connect to however I cant get it to connect to a car radio for the want of trying. I find it a bit frustrating that when bluetooth connected the players controls are deactivated and you have to go to the device to control the volume and tracks, not somehting I've experienced with other bluetooth players. Otherwise the sound is very nice even with earphones.

I bought it a year ago and I am still impressed with the quality of this player. The overall design and hi res music experience is excellent! It brings me back in time to an early 90s when I have got my first quality Sony walkman (WM-702). It seems to me that Sony started once again to produce music player which are the class on its own. Thank you Sony!

I use the NW-ZX300 with MDR-Z7M2 headphones(balanced), via bluetooth on home theatre STR-DN1070 and in car directly connected to my RSX-GS9 and sound quality is spectacular. I added a 256G SD card and have all my music in either CD quality or DSD. It a solid unit and feels great in the hand with easy to use and intuitive controls. If it didn't take the microSD cards I think the 64Gb might be an issue but SD cards being so cheap its really not an issue IMO. The main reason I love this unit so much though is the sound quality. It just sounds amazing, and whether I'm play reference tracks in DSD or my music in CD quality, it is stellar. Battery life is great, interface is good,and controls are well placed and easy to feel your way round to use when in a pocket or low light. Screen is good although i don't really look at it much. Haven't used it as a DAC for my computer yet but plan to take advantage of that feature soon Wi-fi would have been nice but new NW-ZX500 has that, so that has been addressed for anyone looking today, bt wouldn't be a reason not to pick up one of these. I'd like to be able edit track info on unit but apart from those minor quibbles, I couldn't be happier with it as it does everything I want and sounds amazing doing it
