The only huge problem are the controls. Anything touches the Walkman and it turns on, in your bag all work day and then battery bars are used. If something touches the front panel, the songs go back to number one, that is painful. Great sound great excellent battery.

I purchased this Walkman as a replacement for my iPod, as I realised a few things: iTunes was becoming tiresome to use to add music - I could simply drop and drag I could utilise external storage to almost triple my storage capacity so readily and easily. The functions/menu on the Sony Walkman were way more user friendly and intuitive The sound quality is so much better - I get way more output on this than my iPod - even when turned up full on iPod. There are two things that I would suggest that would make the product even better from Sony: it doesn't come with headphones, which may be helpful initially to use the product The main thing which I hope Sony take note of though, which has been problematic - PLEASE look at changing your ON button. If left in a bag, it can hit against something else and easily turn on and then when you go to use it, battery is drained. An on switch that requires some form of definitive "click" when you move it across, would easily solve this issue. This is the only design fault that matters to me, and possibly others. I've now put a rubber band around my Walkman so that I am less likely to have it bump and turn on

It is a really compact and well designed unit, has exceptional quality and features, and is a big upgrade from previous models. The larger screen allows viewing of your tv shows or movies better. From a user perspective, it was easy to navigate and use, and even my three year old managed to work out how to use it within 10 minutes, kids these days :) Love the Aqua blue color as matched my headphones perfectly. In times of price it is as good as most out there currently, but the features and quality does go above and beyond the competition.
