Love the fit and finish of the headphones and the waterproof feature, though the rubbery texture does get caught on my neck when turning side to side, which made me use the headphones with the corded hanging under my chin. But what really annoyed me with this product was the lack-lustre battery life and unreliable charging performance. In the gym when I had the headphones full-blast, they probably lasted just over 2 sessions so I would always charge every two visits, and this eventually forced me to charge after every gym session to ensure I don't run out of battery towards the end of my second session. What was worse when I started using this at work. I currently work in a quiet environment so I often have the volume at what would be 25% level or so, but the headphones would last 5 hours at most. I don't usually use wireless headphones in the office but changing to a phone with no headphone jack had forced me to use them as I don't often carry an adapter with me. Most annoying though was the unreliable charging. I can't charge the headphones unless they're directly plugged into a wall outlet. Doesn't work through a power bank nor laptop/PC. The red charging light would turn on for 5 seconds then switch off. That said, this was using a generic micro USB cable, not the included one. But there shouldn't be any different in these cables, right? I think I've misplaced my original Sony micro USB cable or it's just mixed in with all my other cables, as there was no distinguishing feature on them (no Sony logo). Just seems a bit silly to require a specific, universal cable for charging. Because of these battery/charging issues, I cannot recommend these headphones (especially at the original price), nor any other bluetooth headphones Sony will release. I love Sony and have used their products for a long time but this has frustrated me to no end; considering wireless headphones are meant to be portable usable everywhere, these issues have confined me to using them just for the gym, where I don't have to worry about them lasting for less than 2 hours. I don't think I'll purchase Sony headphones again.

I bought this headset to replace another set I used with my mobile phone, to allow me more "freedom" when using them outdoors as the wired ones were great but the cable was always getting snagged/caught up and ended up pulling the earpiece out of my ear. Bluetooth was the solution for me and these are lightweight and comfy to use, also the sound quality is great too. It does take practice to use the controls correctly to adjust the volume up and down etc, but when you've learnt how it's easy. I would prefer it if the battery life was longer but then I think it would have to have a larger (bigger) battery fitted and that would, no doubt, increase the size of the headset(?) They are easy to pair with your devices using both Bluetooth and NFC. The battery life is about 4.5 hours, which is good, but for me I'd prefer something that lasted at least double that for the day at work at least, as I'm out and about on foot for at least 6-7 hours each day. Easy to charge via the micro usb connector lead, supplied with the unit and this is fitted in the headset and charges when linked to your PC and will take a few hours to give you a full charge. Please Note: If your phone has a built in radio, these will not work with it as your headphones cable acts as an aerial for your radio. If you have apps etc on your phone to allow you to listen to the radio online then these will work fine.

Asked for them for the gym but the sound off them was so quiet I went back to earbuds. ok for talking to people on calls but poor for music. I'd suggest over the ear headphones with a bluetooth receiver. Works a treat for my mdr-100.
