I have been using high-end headphones for years and have to say that these headphones by far are the best I have heard so far. Really impressive sound quality. It picks up all the little details in every song, the bass is perfect without overpowering the rest of the music. Best of all, they are extremely comfortable. Nice work Sony!

Not really too sure where to begin with these. They are probably the biggest dsappointment in a long while when it comes to audio quality, features and comfort. Positives..... Well, they look pretty nice. And that's where it ends. Upon first plugging them in, the first thing you notice is the included cables are way too short. Call me spoiled and the rest, but when you shell out this sort of money you sort of expect a few cables of varying lengths. It comes with 2 cables. One with inbuilt mic and one without. Both are the same length, which is too short (1.2m). I've got a few cans worth half the money with cables 2-3x longer. Comfort is not good. I've got an above average head size and the adjustments don't go far enough. After 5-10 minutes, where the band sits, it starts to ache pretty bad. This is on top of the cups being a pain to get right. On or over ear too? Borderline on in reality. Sound quality..... Or lack of is the biggest disappoinment. After a lot of fiddling with the EQ, you can make them somewhat bareable. Bass distorts, mids aren't that bad and the highs are pretty dreadful. With the fiddling, I worked out the frequency response is closer to 50hz-18khz. Around the 50-60hz range when adjusting, you can hear it change the actual lower end of the spectrum (~20hz), so it is rather interesting how it augments the lower bass. Overall, steer well clear. I also at the same time picked up a cheaper pair of cans from Sony for my girlfriend..... And they have better sound quality? Perhaps I'm only paying for the fake alloy and shiny red bit.

These are light and very comfortable, have very low bass and sound great.
