I had a 32" Sony Bravia before, and now have upgraded to this 50" Bravia. Quality & design are excellent. You get what you payed for in this case, it might cost a little bit more than lesser known 50" TV brands but from my past experiences its worth it. I had the 32" Bravia for 3-4 years and it was faultless, I have only had the 50" for 1-2 months now and have had no issues so far. Overall this TV is excellent and I can't really find many faults if any, if a good friend ask me would I recommend buying one of these TV's I would have to say "yes".

TV looks fine if you like Basic no frills design (I do) Image colour is OK but picture is ordinary, seems to struggle when focusing moving images more than my other LCD TV's do. Did not see this aspect in store Demo Picture & Sound options are too basic.More user configuration options are needed here. But 3D is the best part of this Set, it's excellent Speaker sound quality is OK but Tinny (built in equalizer doesn't help this) Internet is locked to Sony Entertainment network so you can only get Apps that Sony wants you to have. No unrestricted browsing. Almost impossible to link your TV to your App accounts, the browser is not user friendly & Clunky. User Manual must be a basic generic version & IMOP it seems to be an edited version from another model TV. It is only partly compiled for this TV. And therefor it leaves out all of the important & needed settings (like how to stream PC Content) Hardware Lacks variety in sound input/output options, only has earphone jack & Optical Audio out. Base does not swivel & because it is chrome it can reflect surrounding light on to the screen which is annoying If I had my choice over I would not purchase this Set again.
