I bought this tv back in March and have had constant problems with it. I have needed to turn it on and off again at the wall on numerous occasions. It has been glitchy 80% of the time I have had this television. I can not watch Free View or Crome Cast on this television. I basically can't do anything on this television other than watch free to air or Netflix. It's not a 'smart' television at all. I can assure you that I will never buy Sony ever again particaulrly when you have incredible products out in the market that actually work. Bitterly disappointed.

Bought 14 mths ago pic pixels distorted NOT HAPPY!

Bought it 8 months ago, at first we had terrible times with it, it had its moods, it wouldn't react on its remote, it wouldn't turn on or it was impossible to turn it off. That took some weeks and it started working normally. I, later figured that the TV was going through software updates and when updating it wouldn't inform you of course, and it was happening at some random times to confuse you, and like I said it took some long weeks to settle down. The weirdest tv acting I have ever seen. It's got some new apps but you know, those useless ones. The worst thing is it CAN NOT have additional apps installed by the user (be aware of this as I WASN'T), it only has what it gets from its updates. TV picture is decent as the speakers but it is NOT a SMART TV. It is a joke. Friends of ours have some LG tv, a smart one, with a pointer built in the remote, with a decent mozilla-looking user friendly quick and easy browser that can open any Internet content - unlike the Sony :( as Sony basically doesn't open anything on its Opera, it is slow and it jams, after it jams it returns to "home". There you go.. Do not buy this Sony.
