The picture, look and size of this TV is perfect. The most annoying thing is the preloaded software. It takes ages for the digital on demand apps to load and it doesn't load half of the time. YouTube and Netflix often doesn't load. I have had to factory reset the TV six times. The application list is very limited and hard to use. These features should be better on a digital smart tv in 2018. Please update the firmware/software!

DOES NOT RUN ANDROID! Whatever it uses is junk, at the low end of Sony's offering, not widely used by other models, you can't add apps, etc: - TV can't accept a mouse, everything has to go through the remote using arrow buttons (unlike our 5+ year old little off brand 32" we upgraded from) - Sony remote doesn't include a keyboard (unlike our 5+ year old little off brand 32" we upgraded from), so typing words has to be done using up, down, left, right keys. - In addition, we couldn't get a keyboard working plugged into the USB port (unlike our 5+ year old little off brand 32" we upgraded from). Went to the store, the display TV wouldn't accept a keyboard either despite a menu setting appearing. - The in-built cast rarely ever works (doesn't show up on computer 95% of the time), forcing us to purchase an addition Chromecast device (which was 50% of what our last TV cost!). - Occasional issue where audio output volume is stuck well below line level output, can't be adjusted with remote, forcing us to reset the TV settings. - Base doesn't grip the furniture unit and TV easily slides around just from the force of inserting a USB device - Audio out is only available via 3.5mm jack - Sometimes takes several minutes to open Netflix/Youtube when powering on TV Aside from the increase in size and pixel density, this TV is a DOWNGRADE from our last TV which is a 5+ years old budget brand unit in terms of functionality and user experience.

I bought it a few weeks ago (April 2018).The built in cast does not work at all! Have to use remote all the time! Strongly suggest please dont buy it if you ever need cast!
