I recently purchased one of these radios as radios with good MW performance are of interest to me. This radio looked like it may be a good performer on MW but not knowing the size of the ferrite rod antenna, I took a punt on buying it. Pros: Reasonable well made, surprisingly good MW performance, sensitive on SW, average on FM. The radio seems to have good sensitivity and selectivity. Good audio Cons: A bit too "plasticy" and feels slightly flimsy in construction. SW need a good deal of dexterity and patience to tune. Does not cover some of the important SW Bands, needs a fine tuning control to tune SW easier. Would be good to split the SW into 2 or 3 bands to increase coverage and tuning ease. Could do with more sensitivity on FM but for local stations, it does the job well. This radio is worth picking up and while a few extra features would make a good radio into an excellent radio, you get what you pay for. Recommended.

Have had the radio for over 5 years and it has been very reliable.
