I currently have the Sony 55" KD55X7500F and I thought I would complete my bedroom setup with the HTX9000F. Oh what a mistake that was! I brought this expecting higher overall sound quality, level, and with more bass however I believe that the TV sounds better than the soundbar. You can barely even hear the bass at all, I had to double check that the sub was correctly connected because it was that quite. The speakers from the soundbar sounded worse than the ones in the TV. I have heard better quality from a sound system that is about 10 years old now and cost 1/7th of the price. The TV has the same volume as the soundbar when the TV is at 40% vs the soundbar at 100%. However all the included extra features such as Bluetooth, USB, ARC, VERTICAL S, wireless sub, clean look and touch controls with the light feedback are great and all work wonderful. Installation was extremely easy and syncing the sub up with the soundbar was flawless. I would only recommend getting this if your TV speakers are absolutely horrible. I am now stuck with a sound system that I am trying to figure out how am I going to sell this to get my money back.

Build quality is excellent and sound quality is not bad, but the user manual is poorly written. The user manual is poorly written. For example, it sets up false expectation in user, leading the user to believe that pressing the buttons on the remote control will result in visual feedback being displayed on TV. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Key-press feedback is displayed only when the sound bar's Home screen is shown on TV! The user manual should be reviewed thoroughly, and it should be tested against the product. It should clearly state that key-press feedback is displayed only when the Home screen is shown on the screen.
