    The HTCT80 from Sony is their Bluetooth-enabled entry level Soundbar and Subwoofer home theatre package. Wireless connectivity such as NFC and Bluetooth make sharing your favourite tracks easy.

    The wired Subwoofer that comes with this Soundbar is designed to give your movies and music an extra kick. Thanks to the Bluetooth connectivity, sharing music and connecting to this Soundbar is a breeze.

    USB File Playback

    This device has a built-in ability to play content right from a USB storage device. This is especially useful if you keep a lot of content digitally stored and need an easy way to play it.

    2.1 Channel Audio

    Add an extra kick to your TV viewing with 2.1 channel audio. Great for smaller rooms, bedrooms and great for setups where you want extra clarity and volume without having to go for a full 5.1 channel setup.

    NFC and Bluetooth

    Optical Input

    If your device is a bit older and doesn’t have an HDMI port, you can connect to this unit through its optical input. All that’s needed is a digital optical cable.

    Good value
    Having had Sony products before and always finding them good quality , I brought the HT-CT80 when I was looking for a new soundbar. Overall it's good value for money and sounds good , the only issue I've found is with the auto power off function if it thinks it's been left on , when using it on Bluetooth , unless the volume is at a higher level it will turn itself off , this cannot be disabled which is not a good feature.

    Complete waste of money, why buy a Sony Sound Bar and Sony TV when they don’t play well with each other? Phfffffffft

    Good low end Soundbar for normal lounge room liste
    This is a great, reasonably priced soundbar for normal lounge room viewing. Be advised that it doesn't have HDMI (ARC) so you will need to connect using optical and use the sound bar remote to control the sound volume, instead of being able to use the TV remote over the return channel in HDMI
