Easy controls
The touch controls are positioned at the front of the cooktop and include great functions such as the boost button which gives the element that is in use extra power to heat up your pot or pan faster. Ideal for the times you don't want to wait for that water to boil.
Safe to use
This Smeg cooktop has awesome built in safety features such as the automatic safety cut off which switches off all elements if unattended for a period of time. It also has spillage auto-stop which will switch off the cooktop if any spillage is detected.
Stop what you're doing!
If you need to walk away from your cooktop whilst cooking but don't want your pot to boil over when you're gone use the pause function to switch off the element until you come back. You can then resume cooking with exactly the same settings that you were using with just a touch of a button.
