However, there are a couple of options you can explore if you require a flue extension. One option is to have your cabinet maker create a plinth that extends downward from the ceiling. This plinth would serve as a mounting point for the canopy of your range hood. Another option is to take the bottom portion of your range hood to a stainless fabricator. They can custom-make a section that matches the desired height of your ceiling, allowing for a complete and seamless flue extension.
