DONT BUY THIS
After 3.5 years the television is broken and will cost more to repair then the television itself. Samsung will not even negotiate or offer to repair it. 3.5 years for a high end, new television to last is not acceptable.

I would like to return the TV.
I have tried everything - from factory reset to replacing the antenna (at significant cost) however when viewing the TV guide the program list freezes and very slowly loads one channel at a time - infuriating! Samsung blames the signal strength but the TV aerial company claim the signal is strong.

Excellent service from appliances online. Delivered on time and great communication re the delivery time. This is the second time I have purchased products from appliances online and I can't fault them. Matt in product support went over and above my expectations- my new tv didn't have enough ports for both my pay tv and dvd player and when I contacted the support team, Matt emailed me with advice and suggestions then went on ebay and found me the cable I needed. Try getting that service at one of the big retail stores. If you are thinking of buying an appliance and wonder if appliances online is as great as the customer reviews say- YES IT IS. Is it easy to tape shows to your dvd Gwen77 · 2018-01-26
Hi Gwen, Thank you for your question. The process of recording programs to your DVD will depend entirely on the model of DVD player/recorder you have and will not differ based on the TV. You can, however, record directly through the Samsung UA43MU6100 and it is as simple as selecting the program you wish to record from the on-screen program guide and pressing record. Do remember though that as with all smart TV's, you will need to connect a USB hard drive to the TV in order to store your recorded program.
